The Vets in Kefalonia perform a crucial service to Kefalonia Animal Trust and the Cats and Dogs on the island. They perform about 1,000 operations per annum between them to neuter the animals and keep the numbers on the island to an acceptable level. Without these the island would be overrun with strays and many would suffer as a result.
